Located in the scenic Loess Hills of eastern Nebraska sits the premier hunt club and kennel of the Midwest, nature's own paradise, Pheasant Bonanza.

Here you will find a hunting experience like no other. With thousands of acres of prime hunting ground, the natural habitat provides unlimited challenges for groups of all sizes making every trip you take into the field a unique experience.

At the end of the day you can gather in the lodge to relax and share hunting stories; enjoy a drink by the beautiful stone fireplace or head down to our game room which offers you a chance to watch your favorite sporting event on our flat screen tv or play a game of cards.

Our inviting lodge has a variety of rooms available for all of your comfort needs. Home cooked meals are available for your convenience, or you can prepare your own meals with our modern kitchen appliances. The lodge is centrally located so that you can walk to the sporting clays course, clubhouse, pavilion, or one of the many nature trails.

We invite you to stay in our lodge with the comfort of home, and enjoy its peaceful setting. The lodge will comfortably sleep 14 people with its full bedrooms, loft and bunkroom.

  • Upstairs -2 Queen beds
  • Loft - 4 Twin beds
  • Downstairs 2 bedrooms - 2 Twins each
  • Rollaways are available-9 Twin

Bunkhouse

Our bunkhouse is great for the budget hunter or overflow guests. It sleeps six people with 3 bedrooms, 2 bath, full kitchen, and DirectTV for only $250 per night.

Pheasant Bonanza offers "off season" rates for the summer.

The lodge and bunkhouse are excellent for weddings and family reunions.

Every angle of Pheasant Bonanza is an eyeful of breathtaking beauty, especially against one of Nebraska's evening sunsets. We ask only that visitors respect and preserve these natural wonders. It has taken many years to develop our wildlife habitat, and the balance of nature is very fragile. Enjoy, but don't destroy this natural wonderland.

Local Attractions

Summit Lake

Great fishing & swimming area. 4 miles southwest of Tekamah. It has approximately 190 surface acres of water.

There is a limit on boating on the lake with a 5 mph no wake rule in effect. Catchable populations of Bass, Bluegill, Carp, Channel Catfish, Crappie, Northern Pike,Walleye and Wiper.

The lake is best known for its cat fishing and crappie in the summertime and its winter ice fishing. Beautiful, relaxing scenery!
