Q? IS SHOOTING INSTRUCTION AVAILABLE?

A. Yes, you can make an appointment for shooting instruction.

Q? WHAT IS THE LARGEST SHOT SIZE WE CAN USE?

A. 7 1/2 shot or smaller for clay shooting. We recommend 4-6 shot for field hunts (no smaller than 6). Depending on what type of waterfowl being hunted, ammunition could range from 4 shot to BB and must be steel. Ammunition is available in our Pro Shop.

Q? CAN WE BRING OUR OWN DOGS?

A. You are more than welcome to use your own dogs at your own risk, however, dogs are not permitted in our lodge. We do offer boarding in our full service kennel.

Q? IS IT REQUIRED TO HAVE A GUIDE ON OUR HUNT?

A. Members may hunt self-guided, with their own dogs or by renting dogs from Pheasant Bonanza.

Q? IF I BUY A MEMBERSHIP, HOW LONG IS IT GOOD FOR?

A. Our membership year runs September 1st (opening day for CSA Pheasant Hunting) through August 31st of the following year. If you are a new member, your membership will be pro-rated based on a daily rate on the day you purchase your membership. Renewals are the same rate regardless of the time of year renewed.

Q? CAN WE BRING A NON-HUNTING GUEST?

A. Yes. We try to encourage everyone to share the experience, hunting or not.

Q? HOW MANY PEOPLE HUNT IN A GROUP?

A. Upland hunting: we can accommodate multiple groups with a limit of 5 per group for safety. Waterfowl hunting: we can accommodate multiple groups of up to 15. Blind exclusiveness can be quoted upon request.

Q? IS THERE A LIMIT ON BIRDS SHOT?

A. There is no limit on field hunts. At the end of the day, we'll even clean, vacuum seal and ship them for you.For waterfowl hunts, numbers are in accordance with Nebraska state law based on species.
